Pretty cool hey? Now here's the fun part. Each of those "dots" that we've written above on the stave has a different pitch.
The term "Pitch" describes how high or low a note sounds. For example, the average female voice has a higher pitch than the average male voice (meaning it sounds higher)
We read in time from left to right. So the stave diagram above starts with a low pitch and gets a little bit higher with each subsequent note.
